In order to avoid any delay in processing for justice, our services are ready to intervene 24 hours a day on the continent or overseas. TRANSPORT DE SANG (PSL) & ORGANES (CONTEXTE ABM)
The transport of labile blood products requires know-how even when it involves transport between the EFS (DEL) and an ES, the proper consideration of documents relating to the delivery of packed red blood cells, and, if necessary, samples for the purpose of an IH exploration with a view to delivering PSL. TRAINING OUR TEAMS
All our network member teams (including our office teams) benefit from expert support designed specifically for all missions falling under a specialized structure. Transporting PSL, biological products, transplants, legal seals of biological origin, medications, etc., our TMS “specialized medical transport” consulting program prepares our agents for the various tasks they may be required to perform. Based on the experience and legal knowledge of an expert in class 6 and 8 goods transport law, supported by a medical biologist specializing in immunohematology, a hemovigilant nurse, and a laboratory technician, this support program is led by five specialized speakers. Our applied consulting sessions are also accessible to any independent structure of the network as well as to healthcare institutions wishing to raise awareness and support their transport agents. This approach is fully compliant with the requirements of the Public Health Code, which imposes a high level of expertise on agents responsible for PSL transport. Transport regulations, good practices adapted to the different types of care, immuno-hematology procedures for the delivery of PSL, organization of transplants and CHPOT missions, management of degraded situations, knowledge of collection tubes, compliance with transport temperatures specific to each category of products, secure stowage of vehicles, and many other essential elements are presented and explained in order to ensure: • the best possible care for the patient, • and the guarantee of the physical integrity of the products entrusted to the ordering party.
OUR TECHNICAL MEANS
We work only with our own resources (except for the organ donation activity), our transport packaging provided is tested and proven via our metrology center and above all, complies with the regulatory packaging provisions depending on the shipping request.
TRACEABILITY
We make it a point of honor to track each stage of our shipments. Our vehicles are geolocatable, shipments can be equipped with COFFRAC temperature probes, dates and times are recorded, etc. Everything is designed to minimize incidents as much as possible.
